My first solo trip was to Hawaii. I always wanted to visit Hawaii and when I was 28, after 3 years living on London I planned a trip to the USA. This was before all the facilities we have not with the internet, social media and even ASW (A small world).
But it did not faze me, I research where I wanted to go, how could I get there and, with stopovers in San Francisco on the way out and LA on the way back, I followed my dreams.
Well, I fell in love with the place! So much so that I went back 3 times after that. So, yes I know Hawaii VERY well and can advise you in where to go, where to stay, how to get there. I know the Island of Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Big Island and Malokai, I left not stoned unturned.
I have to say that Hawaii is my favourite destination, Mykonos is my happy place (more about that later), but Hawaii is my favourite place in the world. We have the comfort of the American live but the beauty of Hawaii is special. The green seems greener and the water is so clear and blue.

Sim eu me apaixonei pelo Havai. Tanto que retornei mais 3 vezes depois desta primeira viagem. Confesso que o Havai e meu lugar favorito no mundo, Mykonos e meu lugar feliz (mais sobre isso depois), mas o Havai e meu lugar predileto. Voce ira encontrar o conforto dos EUA, com a beleza impar da Polinesia. O Havai e muito especial, o verde parece mais verde e o azul do mar mais azul.
Ha hotel para todos os bolsos em Waikiki e em todas as Ilhas, dos mais baratos ao luxo do Royal Hawaiian, Westin, Four Seasons, Sheraton, havera sempre um lugar maravilhoso que caiba no seu bolso.
